The mop pads are automatically cleaned in hot water and then drained, and the water tank that is contaminated is automatically cleaned after every cleaning session.

It comes with advanced options to customize the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a time to start and end each cycle or selecting whether it should vacuum carpets prior to mopping. It can be instructed to clean up areas that are dirty and to increase suction around pet litter and food bowls. The X40 Ultra can be programmed to perform specific tasks at the touch of a button, such as cleaning the kitchen sink or bathroom toilet. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side of the brush when it detects wet areas and clean up debris around corners and baseboards.

The X40 Ultra has a simple user interface that offers many features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than most corded vacuums. Like all robots like it, the S1 Pro comes ready to take off from the box, and requires only an initial mapping session to learn its way around your home. The map will then be displayed in the app and you can add or join rooms as you need to. You can also set virtual boundaries as well as no-go zones if there's something you don't want your robot to get into.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up messes from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that exerts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to both mop and vacuum makes it a great option for homes with both types of flooring. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box), can make it less adaptable than other robots that permit you to include your own cleaning products.
